Nutrition & Metabolic Health

One diet doesn't fit everyone. Here's what does matter.

What the research shows

There’s no single perfect diet, and research points to overall diet quality over any one trend. In the PREDIMED trial, adults at high cardiovascular risk who followed a Mediterranean diet with extra-virgin olive oil or nuts had about 30% fewer heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular deaths than a group advised to follow a reduced-fat diet (Estruch et al., 2018).

Our coaching focuses on the foundations: enough protein, plenty of plants and fiber, and healthy fats. For anything specific to your health, talk with your doctor.

How we coach it

Protein-forward, Mediterranean-style eating.

Fiber and fermented foods.

General nutrition education from our coaches, not medical advice.

Tuff Girl Kitchen meals (coming soon).

Topics such as blood work, DNA, methylation and microbiome testing are covered as general education only. Specific supplement or diet plans should come from a licensed healthcare professional.

From the longest-lived

Long-lived communities eat mostly plants, with beans almost every day, and stop eating when they're about 80% full.

What we'll help you track

Simple eating habits, like protein at every meal.
